What we hold

• Your name — printed on the ticket.
• Your WhatsApp number — how the ticket reaches you, and how we reach you if the event changes.
• Your email, if you give us one — so you get a second copy of the ticket.
• The payment reference from M-Pesa, so a payment can be traced or refunded.
• Whether the ticket has been scanned, and when.

We never see or store your M-Pesa PIN. We do not store card numbers, because we do not take cards.

Who else sees it

The organiser of an event you bought a ticket to can see the name and number on that ticket — they need it to run the door and to contact you if the event moves. They cannot see anything about tickets you bought from anyone else.

Our payment provider sees what it needs to move the money. We do not sell your details to anyone, and we do not pass them to advertisers.

Messages you get

We message you on WhatsApp about tickets you have bought — the ticket itself, reminders, and changes to the event. If you reply STOP we will stop sending you anything that is not about a ticket you already hold.

Following our WhatsApp channel is entirely optional and you can leave at any time.

How long we keep it

Ticket and payment records are kept so that entry can be proven and money can be traced or refunded later. Records of what happened to a ticket are deliberately append-only — they are not edited after the fact.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to stop messaging you. Message us on WhatsApp and we will deal with it.
